    Way to go Kerry, I hope that pass helped erase some of the pain from Salina last year. I bet your son was very proud of you also. I with Model A John bring that puppy to Ardmore the first weekend in Sept.

  9. [You are most welcome! I feel better knowing someone with a clue (not me) has had a go and not condemned her. :)

    QUOTE=rooman;6880372]Kerry,
    I have to once again say thanks for letting my make a pass in your car. I know how much blood, sweat and tears goes into building one of these things and for you to just let me jump in and drive your pride and joy was way cool.

  10. Thanks much for the kind words guys. Can't begin to explain how good it feels getting her down the track. Yep, still smiling.

    I took today off as well and took her by a couple of places to say thanks to two guys who have encouraged me. The second is on older gentleman who ran a speed shop out of his appliance store. You should have seen his eyes light up as he walked around her. He still has one of three rear engine Chassis Research diggers created by Scotty Fenn. Instead of just running away I spent the morning at his place listening to stories of racing back in the day. Too cool!

    Too cool, finally a video of a real race car running down the track at the Hamb drags after seeing about 20 pages of road rods posing in the pits or static photos of guys working on their cars.

    PorterBuilt posted a link on Facebook to a bunch of good photos of cars making passes down the strip though. Not sure if there is a link on the website.
