Just a quick thanks to Ryan and the HAMB crew, Carl and the MOKAN crew, and the Drag Racing Gods for an absolute killer HAMB DRAGS this year! From the Friday Night Hotel cruise to a full day and four passes at the track it was all kinds of amazing! As always the HAMB DRAGS delivered! GO MAN GO!

I will second that Deucedup thanks to Ryan and all the Mokan crew and anyone else who helped make the hamb drags happen it was a great day of racing and in my case a good day to break all the cars you own lol I managed to make the best pass ever in my dragster right before the timing chain decided to break in the motor that was right after I broke the ujoint in the Willys which I was able to repair only to then whoop up on the dragnasty and then Kerry in his Bitchin blown hemi coupe all to blow the motor up in the Willys so yeah good times and great oldies lol. I also want to thank all those clowns who help crew with me and my crap Jeff price you were a savior making parts runs and the Han brothers for some sponsorship and assistance in the pits Saltflats you were a real help in getting the ujoint in the driveshaft as I was pretty frustrated at that moment all in all I had a great time and will do it again next year

    Any time Jackson.
    It was a great weekend.
For the ones that though it was going to be a rain out missed out.
It was good for me, 4 runs and no yellow time slips.
And my best reaction time ever. 20160821_134910.jpg

  7. Bummed that I couldn't make it this year but glad it didn't get rained out! See ya next year...

  8. I second what everybody said already! Let's also include Marcie and her crew of gals . All of you make this a great event.

For me I just wanted to make through the weekend w/o breaking anything! The old coupe was dependable but way off her past times. As I pulled off the track aftet the third pass I realized I never switched to the tank with the race gas and still had a ton of boost timing retard in (for cheap street gas). Made those changes and ran a 12.98 against Randy's 12.55. I'll be back Randy, with an actual race tune up next time!!! ;-)My best on street tires in the past was 12:55 so it should have been a lot closer.

Kerry you might becareful what you ask for cause I have one of those elephants in the corner waiting to be abused never know it might be the next power plant in the Willys then maybe I won't have to wring its neck and kill it just to barely beat you lol

It turned out to be a great day of racing at the Hamb Drags. The rain went away, the clouds broke, and the temperature was pretty decent. We finally got to see the "Drag Nasty" car! After following the build-up on the HAMB, it was cool to meet the owner and check out the quality of the build. My 92-year-old Dad drove up from Arkansas to hang out with us and watch the racing action. He loved it! Another successful Hamb Drags.

Model A John I'm really impressed how your car goes down the track. Great front lift off the line and settles down so smooth and straight as an arrow.
