I was thinking the same thing this morning. I just watched that clip online. For some reason the missing front bumper looks right on this car.

Here is a 57 210 2drht that was a street gasser in the 70s. Maybe raced somewhere before that. 327 with muncie 4 speed and 4.11 Posi. It has the oldest Weld wheels decal I have ever seen in the quarter window. This car will be a gasser again if I live long enough to get to it.

nice car, doesn't look like it was ever apart by the way the hood chrome lines up. Seems it is never quite the same afterward.

Here's mine. Might have to let it go to buy some tools for the shop but it's been fun working on it.

Heres a couple of my 150 Sedan that I found in a garage in 2006. The B/W picture shows it going thru the lights at Bakersfield March Meet in 1970. They were running G/MP class at the time. I was told that the car was later run in D/GS with a Hilborn injected smallblock. You can see the faint outline where someone put fuel injection emblems on the front fenders, so who knows?
The color picture is from Billetproof, Ca. in 2008. By this time I had found out the hard way that the 15x4 US Indy slots that came with the car are only .50"-.60" thick in the bead area...cracked one pulling into a car show...Not sure if I love the ET's yet...

  21. It's got an interesting story. I bought it out of Sudbury, Canada in 1995 when it was adverised in Hemmings. The guy promised it was cherry and had zero rust. It was as he said because it was originally a California car. He and his friend would buy cherry cars out of California and bring them back to Canada to sell to their friends. Note the tow bar mounts under the front bumper. Since it was towed back in October of 1975 the original 283 froze and cracked the block in it by the time they got back because it just had water in it. He put a 350/Turbo 400 in it and sold it to a friend who let it sit for 15 years until he bought it back and then sold it to me 5 years later. It is a very cherry body and I don't think it has ever been in an accidient but it needs a restoration with new chrome, paint and an interior. I hope to get it done someday. I've at least washed it and put the cover on it since that pic was taken.

Some cool rides so far. Heres my bottomless pit of money. This is my first car, bought when I was 16. So had it 22 years now. Has always had a BB, but now runs a blown 540. Flat black with bags. To me, cruisin this is the most fun you can have.

This was my Dad's high school ride, taken @ 1965. He said he walked into the local GM dealer and bought a 4 bbl carb and manifold for $30! Also had a cal custom 40-40 style carb scoop, 3 sp on the floor and A/C!
