looking for info on these grill teeth I've got a buddy building a caddy and he wants to run these on his ... Any guesses we thought corvette at first but they are not quite the same ... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
That picture is so grainy and shadowy it's hard to tell anything from it. Could be a '54 Chevy car grille bar with the parking light ends cut off, but hard to say.
Ditto the crappy picture comment, but looks like '54 chevy center bar w/54 chevy teeth to me. Stuffed in between the caddy bumperettes.
When Dennis Moomjean went out of business, I scored a whole box full of early ('60?) Datsun bumper guards wrapped in newspaper, straight from the chrome shop. They were tiny...and pretty! (and thick...easily mounted to a '54 Ford floating bar) There were 12, I sold 'em on the Bay for what they bid up to. ($320!!!) Wish I had more...Great looking, more 'round' than your friend's.
the car is in Australia, maybe they were pulled off of a local car. I thought cut down 54 desoto or maybe Holden but the more i look at them they might just be made.. Hard to get a good view on them being all shinny!
Yep those grille "teeth" are 1962/3 EJ Holden or 1964 EH Holden front and maybe rear bumper overiders.......andyd
