That picture is so grainy and shadowy it's hard to tell anything from it. Could be a '54 Chevy car grille bar with the parking light ends cut off, but hard to say.

Ditto the crappy picture comment, but looks like '54 chevy center bar w/54 chevy teeth to me. Stuffed in between the caddy bumperettes.

When Dennis Moomjean went out of business, I scored a whole box full of early ('60?) Datsun bumper guards wrapped in newspaper, straight from the chrome shop.
They were tiny...and pretty! (and thick...easily mounted to a '54 Ford floating bar)

There were 12, I sold 'em on the Bay for what they bid up to. ($320!!!)

Wish I had more...Great looking, more 'round' than your friend's.

To me, they look more like the teeth on the rear quarter of a 53 Merc.

the car is in Australia, maybe they were pulled off of a local car. I thought cut down 54 desoto or maybe Holden but the more i look at them they might just be made.. Hard to get a good view on them being all shinny!

  10. They look to me like bumper over riders/guards off an FC Holden

sent via classroom note. pass it on

  11. Yep those grille "teeth" are 1962/3 EJ Holden or 1964 EH Holden front and maybe rear bumper overiders.......andyd
