It's two weeks away and nobody has posted anything about it, is anyone going? Do shops still plan open house tours? Funds are not there so I can't make it this year, hope someone posts photos. Bob

I've been to both two times and like the GNRS better, they are unique, sort of an apples/oranges comparison, just think the GNRS has a better turn out of cars. Bob

For the second time since the GNRS moved south, it is the same weekend as Road to California, a giant quilt show in Ontario. Wife’s happy and so am I!

Great show, I fly in from New Zealand as its the same week as the Namm (music) Show so I get to do work during the week and have fun at GNRS on Saturday. The only issue I have had in the last five years of attending is I can never get around it all !!

I'm still trying to decide if I am up to a road trip down and back.

Leaving the roadster home this year and going Friday from bell to bell. Smaller crowds and easier picture taking.

I love the swap meet that the LARS has which the GNRS doesn't have.

I thought I'd go out on Friday to shoot as many pictures as I could, but I got a big gig that evening that I'll need to be at around 4:30 or so. That kind of ruins the day for me, since the show doesn't open till noon. Maybe I'll head out Saturday an do the drive in.

I wish I could get an early entry pass for photographers, before the crowds get in.

We are displaying Pat Ganahl's new roadster in bare metal. We will be in the main hall in a commercial booth, stop by and see us. IMG_2532.JPG

yes, better for pics - but, Saturday is best with all of the rides that drive in for the day

same weekend as big Turlock Swap up North

  22. We are going, from New Zealand - it’s the first time to GNRS for me. Can’t wait and I also have a job to do there.

  23. I won't be going this year, getting my car on the road has nixed any chance of me attending, I will get back next year. I had an awesome time last year and met so many great people.
