Hot Rods Got Louvered this weekend

Brought the hood off my 34 to the shop to get louvered over the Christmas break.

17- 4" louvers on each side.

Sometimes it pays to show restraint,it's refreshing to see a minimal amount of louvers for a change. HRP

 

Louvers are like lovers, if you have too many you can really get into trouble.

I agree with the less is more thought, looks nice. Have you added that contact info to the louver thread?

 

You're probably gonna wish you had sanded the top side before punching the louvers.

Then one little one right in the middle would have been perfect.

The hood looks good and like the rest I believe in the less is more concept, sometimes people get carried away with the punch and end up with a real monstrosity.

Yes I did't sand the top side because the car has original paint and patina. The hood as is I think will wear in well with the rest of the car....
