Goodguys DEL MAR Weekend PICS

Went to my first GoodGuys event with family from Vegas. spent all weekend soaking in the great weather and cars. Between us we had 3 chevies ( 48, 47, and a 50) and a 29 Ford that was freshly built last weekend. Surprised with the diverse collection of cars that make it over there. Really a fun venue, well organized, weekend for the whole family.Parked in the Hombuilt Heaven area all wekkend and get this>>>> My freind Dan won Top Pro's Pick for the Hombuilt Heaven award out of 450 cars which I thought was well deserved. Came home yesterday and had a mini carshow at my home which I thought was cool as well. Yes there are cars there that would not be HAMB approved but I took some pics of cars that might be worthy of this board. You guys decide. Enjoy

Nice meeting you Sunday! Didn't realize it, but I passed you guys on the 15N later that afternoon...'course, I was in my Tahoe (dropped the '53 back off @ upholstery shop in SD), so you'd of never known. Hope you had safe trip back.

 

That bus is pretty cool but the paint is umm... Well ok its fuckin ugly.

 

I saw your cars there, too. I thought it was a great show, biggest volume of cars I've seen there in the seven years. Took pictures of your cars, as I'm doin' a 47 myself.

Yeah RF, it was a pleasure meeting you as well. The 15 was a fun drive, took us less than 2hrs to get to my pad in Corona and the carshow resumed there. Cant wait to see the upholstery in your car once it's done.

I hang with those guys like I hang with the Village Idiot group because they are all good people with no EGO's.
It is all hotrod business.
Our silent motto is to build hotrods Safe and Kool as well as having random older generation hotrodders liking what we build is more gratifying than any throphy from any show.
