Yeah it is mine....I had every intention of being there....grandmothers health went south and they did not expect her to make it through the night. Had to get back to the family.....I was VERY disappointed that I could not be there. It sucked a lot. Thanks for picking my truck...
Yes ... I have seen your truck at the Fat Boys cruise on Hwy 1 a few times ... cool old truck. Deuce Roadster
LOWFOMOCO, I loved your truck, and the one that was parked to the left of you! Very cool trucks! I was parked near you guys in the Youngguys section, walked by those trucks a million times on Saturday. lol.
I argree it is one of our faves also. I hate that you didn't get to stay longer. This was the fist year I got to take my wagon, had a blast. Usually we are in the ol' mans car! It was my turn this time! Lol
OK last of the pics. It may not be HAMB material but it is worth looking at. This truck belongs to a friend of mine. He is a true craftsman and you have to look real close to understand what he did. This is a 72 Chevrolet on a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD chassis. Soulds easy right? He used the floor and firewall out of the 08 and grafted the 72 body to it. He aslo extended the cab 3.5" behind the door for extra room. He also used the complete interior out of the 08. And yes that is a Duramax/Allison combo. Not one wire was cut, and GM is still going to give him the 100k mile warranty. Very cool!
DANG...HAMB material or not...that's AWESOME! Surely somebody somewhere will give this guy the recognition he deserves! I'd LOVE to see an article on it. ><>
I dig your wagon, I have a sweet spot for Ford Wagons. I am looking for a 61 Galaxie wagon. Know of any?
I agree! I told him the truck needs to go to SEMA... He told me Saturday that this was the only show he was taking it to. He was putting it to work on Monday.
Thanks! I appreciate that! Right now I don't know of any around, but I will definately keep my eyes and ears open for ya!
