Good Turnout in Lompoc

The swap meet and car show to raise money to build the new drag strip in Lompoc was well attended today. Here are a few pics from the event.

Of course any really good car show would only be good if they had a few of the finest cars and trucks ever made. Before we left Dan and his 55 President parked next to Tom's 53 Commander and they pulled in nice and close to the camper and Avanti.


That is a sight. Keep in mind that you are looking at two of the cars that have set the most records at Bonneville and El Mirage. Hope they raise some money to help the cause. I sure would like to drive only 25 miles to test my hot rods.

I posted it here an updated it last night. Don't worry they will hold another one in June. After the next city council meeting.
