I just learned that I have some broken leaf springs. Where is a good source for a set for my
'65 thunderbird? I'm thinking it would be better to just buy new vs used ones. I've seen some online for about $130. per side.

i have bought tons of parts from larrys tbird they all fit. but freight might be a bit stout. check your yellow pages for aftermarket leaf springs in your neighbor hood. its a bit of a dirty job but you will be way happy when done. get a hangar set for the rear, no reuseing the old parts. get some shocks while you are thier. larrys also offers a rear swaybar kit. our girls could use a bit of antisway in thier life. i have 66 bird almost same car

Try your local spring shop. Should be around $200 to $250 a pair INSTALLED for new springs, $150 to $200 to rearch and repair your old ones.

When you get it back it may be sitting kind of high but the springs will flatten out and take a set after a few weeks. Or, if you want lower, they can reverse the eyes and make the springs flat if you like.

    Thanks.
