  7. '56 Big window project, moving slow. Have another chassis already set-up with a Dakota front susp., 9" rear, brakes , mounts, exhaust all done. Waiting on body-work !

    What size are the wheels, (front and back including width) and tires front and back on your Effie?

    My son's. Titled as a '54 but has a 55 griile in it. It was built by he and I in 1976 as his first car (he was 16). Paid $175.00 for it then. Bought a 350 for $250.00, with 350 tranny only 12,500 miles on it wiring harness and driveshaft and hung it all in there; been running since then. Spent a year getting it on the road finished inside and out.

    Interior includes Caddy power seat and black tuck and roll. Bed cover is also tuck and roll. Wheels are original Ansen Sprints. Steering changed to Chevy steering box with cross steer.

    I don't care what anybody says, big windows might be more desirable because they're rare, but small window cabs are WAY better looking.

    there is still quite a bit of work i got to do like gettin rid of those silly M/T sportsmans and gettin slicks, throwin a spool in the rear buildin the motor and gettin the front up in the air ooh a little bit more body work
