PHOTO with car # 12 in Hillclimb:

Do you have any info on this photo, where is the hillclimb? It is a four cylinder walking beam Duesenberg, circa 1915. I got a ride it the twin to this car(maybe this actual car) back in September. [IMG]

I don't have no details, but I agree about it being a walking beam duesy. It was most proberly at Pikes Peak. I know they were racing there from 1916.

very cool photos. I like how the flash in one of the photos draglinks posted shows both the old, painted over number and the new number on the car.

Looks to have Cyrillic writing. From memory it says GL-1, or maybe it's GC-1.

Any Russkie HAMBers out there that might know of the car?
