Gold chevy II gasser is done have a look

    well here it is , done and on the ground, motor sounds killer trans works great and the front end feels great, now its on ebay and lookin for a new home. took us 3 1/2 weeks start to finish . not bad and I think it made a cool little gasser. yes I know it needs different wheels and some dont like gold paint but hey its done... :cool:

    wow looks awesome. i think you should paint gold digger on the doors. what kind of front axle set up did you use?

    Its a speedway 4 inch dropped axle with ford spindles and gm disc brake kit all from speedway , I use them all the time on these gassers

    Thanks, I often wonder why it takes somany years for some guys to do this shit. Granted i do it for a living and it is all in a days work for me but if yuou truly want to get it done you have to work on it, not to mention spend quite a bit of money in a short time... but I still enjoy it , so I do it..

    Hey man, I like the gold. All it needs is some new wheels/tires, and some leaf work on the doors and your set :D.......slim

    well no new pics but i got the left door patch and left cowl patch done as well as rebuilt the l r pillar from a bad chop and filled the foot square hole in the bustle last weekend. should have the roof filled by xmas and then it will have the look i need ....thanks for asking

    Holy von Schmooly! 3-weeks, it takes me longer than that to think about it. I am amazed, the gold is a great old school race car look to me. If you fired up your production line thats 17-plus cars a year, I am way F'n impressed-Sololobo!! P.S. Good to see our Nebraska hero Speedy Bill's stuff doin the job!     thatl work, I have shipped a 57 wagon gasser to perth and a 55 gasser project to perth as well... can ship this one to you too , hehe

    our gasser set ups drive great this way ...very easy to drive and good on the race track as well as on the street...
