I've searched the internet, with no success.

I'm looking for an adapter plate for a Jimmy 302, to Gm 4-speed bellhousing, or a scattershield for the same application.

Does anyone know where to get one? I could obviously make an adapter, but it would be nice to buy one.

    Thanks in advance.

I think a late '50's - early '60's 235/261 bell housing should do it. You may need an adapter ring to have a snug fit between the front bearing retainer on the trans and the back of the B.H., but the bolt patterns and front to back spacing is correct.

Look for the B.H. with the slanted mount pads: \____/ (as seen from the rear).

    Later, Kinky6

Kinky6, I either need a scattershield, or an adapter to go to a scattershield.

Rich, I looked on their site, and sent them an email. All I found on their site was automatic stuff. I'll call them Monday

look right after 400. Scatershiled. Yeah you can use a 55 chevy 6 bellhousing to go between a 302 and a Muncie or T10. But if you want the Blowshield you need the adapter. Automatic and stick V8s bolt to the same bolt pattern. So one adapter fits all.

    Thanks Rich!

I talked to Buffalo Enterprises today, and they will make us an adapter for the Jimmy, that goes to a Chevy bellhousing, using a mini-starter.

In addition, he will weld and re-drill a SFI SBC flywheel for us.
