    I agree thanks for posting.

  4. It's not quite for all GM car lines; Pontiac and Buick are conspicuous by their absence. And there seems to be just a few years of Oldsmobile info.

But there is a goldmine of information here for Chevy cars and trucks and Cadillacs back to the early 1900's. Like you said... Lots of helpful info and specifications.

  5. I hadn't come across the AMA specs for my Cad before. Thanks, now I finally am going to get some printer ink.

That is pretty cool. Just downloaded the 1930 data for my father in law. You could spend days just picking out random years/models to read about.

I've used that for a number of years for AD truck tech answers.

  9. Happy but sad. Happy to see the release, sad because companies only seem do this when they are going under or planning to move offshore.

  10. Cool, thanks!

  12. This online info has been available for several years, an amazing collection of data, right down to tailpipe diameters.
GM, at one time, offered this info to folks, through the mail, at no charge, but that policy was changed.
THE GM HERITAGE CENTER, in Sterling Heights, Michigan is the treasure chest of 600 GM products, those that were in production, one of a kind products and those who never were mass produced (concept vehicles).
It's not open to INDIVIDUALS, but accommodations can be made for groups.
If you can get there, it's worth your time.

  13. GM HERITAGE has been around for years, with the info, as you see. This release was not done recently.
Early on, the info was available as a "restoration packet" ...... free of charge.
Then GM HERITAGE charged $50 for the packet.
A long history of handouts, certainly great, accurate info.
Below is an earlier version of the Chevy info., from GM.
