the last time I got my old doodle bug running I posted a thread showing pictures to document it. well....it had sat again...but for longer. my buddy Larry and I decided to do a video digging it out and getting it running. Enjoy.
Pretty cool. I’ve an old Clark fork lift with a Continental engine, every 5 or 6 years i with need to moved it or use it for something, I get the same joy getting it going. One difference is my choke is “hand made” I lift the oil bath air cleaner off, and choke it with my hand.
haha it really is fun for a gear head. thanks thank you, we love living here I remember them too, I wonder where they all went.
You're a brave man wearin' shorts in all that un-identified brush and weeds! No poison ivy in Connecticut!?! Very cool video. Just so you know, I'm available for adoption. I could live in the shop, I don't eat much, and promise not to scare the womenfolk & horses.
That is so cool Ted, good to see the neglected old doodlebug get some love! Good for many more years. HRP
