Sorry if you mentioned it, but what's the plan for the re-debut of this sucker? I'd love to see it somewhere.

Sure hope it gets near me, I'd love to see it as well. I've been following the build, and you have done a great job. You did it right, and it is becoming a tribute to a great man.

Awesome! I'd love to one day make the GNRS, but it won't be this year. I'll keep an eye out for the list. Will you guys be traveling with it or is it just going for the ride?

OK so a quick update is in order.

At this point in a restoration it is HARD to see the progress. But BELIEVE me a ton of stuff has been done since last week.

Wiring is in progress and the window mechanisms and glass are in. Fuel lines are run, brakes are completed. Fresh wood floors are in the cab and the upholstery is almost done.

The biggest thing is the rear splash pan, rear fenders and the aluminum panels are on!!

    It looks killer.

Once again my camera does not begin to capture what this thing really looks like.

So close and yet so far… 15 days and counting.

I just got back to the shop after being gone all week. Not a whole lot to report. Everything is painted and is being color sanded and buffed. We are waiting for the chrome to return so we can put everything together. The wiring is done. Back to work!

I am sorry to everyone watching the build. I have been out of the shop all week and will probably be gone close to another week. I am dealing with my dad who is probably going to pass soon from cancer. As soon as I get back in the shop I will post some updates for all you rabbid custom fans. I'm sure you understand...

My prayers with you and your Dad, Pete. I lost my Dad to cancer Dec. 1st. Judging by what I've read and the quality of work, he's done a damn fine job of raising his son.
