The Gear Jam Vintag Drags is being held at the Atlanta Dragway April 14-15, October 20-21. We've not only added a second race for this, our 5th year, but we've made them both 2-day events. Index classes for Gasser, FED, Altered, Nostalgia Super Stock, Muscle Car and Hot Rod. Gambler’s Race on Friday ($40 entry) will pay out to every round winner, Gear Jam qualifying and Eliminations on Saturday with a guaranteed $1,000 purse for each class. Large car show on Saturday, and we’re expecting well over 200 vendors in the swap meet area. After the racing on Saturday, there’s a huge Cruise in Commerce on Saturday night from 6-10pm, complete with live band. (The city of Commerce LOVES this event, and they really roll out the red carpet for us) South East Nostalgia Drag Racers are coming with their Gasser and Nostalgia Super Stock racers, Southern Outlaw Gassers are coming, and I’ve talked with members of the Geezer Gassers, Southern Slingshots, and NMCA N/SS racers who are coming.
