Event Coverage Gathering of the Faithful-Rochester, Mass

Thanks to everyone for coming. The weather turned out great and the cars that showed were fantastic. I would like to especially thank the gate and parking crew as well as the Rochester Lions Club for great food and short lines.

We have a few sweats left and those that placed orders for T's and hooded sweats will get them in about 30 days. If you missed out it is not too late to order. Same cost as if you bought them at the show, and free shipping. You simply must pay for them now. Let me know.

I'm looking forward to next year's show. They keep getting bigger, but I will preserve the vintage rod, custom and old racers theme. If you didn't make it, come on down next year and I will guarantee you will have a great time. Till then, thanks guys...Jack

Jack, thanks for hosting another fantastic Gathering of the Faithful...it was awesome as usual. By the way, I was even second guessing your decision to move it to Sunday, but you hit that one dead on...you're the man!!

Sunday was an awesome New England fall day, perfect for the show. Thankyou to AV8 Paul and all the folks that put this event on, my wife and I had a great time. I was checking out an Ardun setup in the swap but I decided to go with a $4.00 speedometer cable instead. Thats almost as cool, right?

The most surprising car there for me was the Ford Prefect (I always wanted to see one of those -being a Douglas Adams fan).

Excellent photos Rebecca! Thanks for posting, wish I could've been there. Why the picture of Pete's rear end?? It's quite disturbing and Slick Willy's is even worse!!

 

Rebecca, thanks for all the shots of our sprint car, should have pulled off the plastic, but got busy and forgot about it. Sold enough stuff to pay for gas etc. too. Nice day, the best show, and well worth the ride.

 

I have trouble walking, So I count on Rebecca's pictures to fill me in on what I miss.
She has once again showen that I don't have to walk the whole place. Great job Rebecca. thank you.

BCCHOPIT, it was real cool to check out your Model A in person. Thats a badass coupe. Only got to talk to you breifly when we were leaving. Ive got a 31 coupe.

 

This one with 4 3/4 chop I wish I took the time to get a pic of the 2 cars together... next year
