Why are people digging up a two year old post to comment on? Doesn't anyone check the dates before they reply?

because they have nothing better to do after watch the Discovery Channel, they are more concerned about drama rather than cars and tradition... (what this forum is about)

  21. it sure has a biiig radiator,,,,,,,which imho does not add to the
    aesthetics of the car.

I don't know where these guys get the balls to ask the kind of $ they get for these cars. This shits got to be made for TV prices.
They don't do any fab work or anything on these cars and they supposedly get 3 to 4x what they lay out in payment.
I doubt these prices are true.

I agree about the prices stated on that show. Seems way to high, especially in the present economy.

I actually watched the episode where they built this car. A friend has one and we thought it would be interesting to see what they'd do. While it's built to look like an old beat up car, it's got a lot of modifications. Some of the stuff they did would have interested a few HAMBers, who are in the "Gas Monkey" closet. The rest would have liked it because he kept it rusty.

Is it worth $50,000? Absolutely. If you think otherwise, build one for less. Everyone would love to see it. I usually check what cars are going to be featured, when I click on this TV crap. But this episode was actually good.

Now, what's so funny that it was worth BTTT, after 2 years?
