This thread motivated me to get that bumper attached! I called up my bud and he brought over his welder and a portaband and we fabbed up some brackets out of some 1/4" flat bar stock. I was happy with what I already had but the bumper just finishes it out.

And Denise, that shot of my shop fridge is a couple months old...I shot this one a few minutes ago....

I do have a buddy that works at a beer store that lets me know when they're running a special. I've learned that if I like it that I need to buy it before they run out...It might be a couple months before they get anything else in that I like...This shot is also from a few minutes ago.

It usually cost me $5 for a 12 pack or $10 for a case (including tax). I have bought it as cheap as $5 for a 24 bottle case of beer.:D

Got this windshield from an early 60's Chrysler for free. Makes for a good leg-cutting coffee table.

I just finished this lamp from a unitest 5 gallon oil can, I'm not sure of the vintage, but it had a wooden part on the handle, they made it in Augusta Georgia. It's made from old lamp parts and the bulb holder is a ceiling fan bulb holder upside down with an antique globe, started it five years ago, kept losing either one or the other parts. I finally found them both at once,so i figured I better finish it. [IMG]

I'm looking for some idea's for a new mail box. Our house is 50's atomic ranch style and I'm down to mailbox and address numbers...

Anyone in the area with a plasma cutter up for cutting up some numbers in trade for some beer? :D

On a similar note, my daughter's babysitter's husband cut two astrovans in half and welded the aft sections back into each other and made a trailer out of them. It kicks ass. Would be way cooler made out of a vw bus

A little O/T, but a buddy hit this fire hydrant and the city made him buy it, ($500!!!) I made a table out of it. There is a piece of glass that goes on top of the circle of flames.
