Here are a few more, not in my garage but in my office and a bathroom.

Stole this idea from a photo on here

Made a towel rack out of an old cam shaft and some ford 302 connecting rods. I am going to cut the front out of that old oil pump and put some plexi shelves in it.

I made these Sconce's out of Southwind Gas Heaters.

TP holder out a chevy sprint brake drum, an old cam and a 50 ford upper A arm. Thanks to Craig Morrison for the A arm.

  3. I put this on the back of my garage if that counts, It was a junk 56' that I cut in half then painted 2 different colors. I built a fake door behind the bed but never got around to making one for the nose. Must of worked though cause the village showed up ready to ticket me for not putting my vehicles away and leaving them hang out of the garage all of the time.
Once I showed them that they were "art" and not just me being lazy they claimed to like them. I grow flowers in the bed in the summertime.
And the tail of the 60 makes a great workbench when I roll it into the driveway

Denise, It's even funnier that you're planning on building one as a bar because I had already decided that the next one we built would be tall enough to use it while sitting on barstools.:D

Our couch isn't attached to the wall. It's just anchored to the floor. A guy on another forum I hang out on had built one attached to the wall, and the first time he put any weight on it he realized that the only area that needed support was at the top of the tailgate hinges. We used his "uh oh" moment and decided that we just needed some square tubing going from the floor to the top of the stake pocket.

We first had to open up the bedside to get a clear shot at the bottom of the stake pocket.

Then we used a piece of square tubing with an angle cut into the end to drive out an interior piece of the pocket that we couldn't access otherwise.

We used a bagged truck that we had in the yard to determine a comfortable height for seating and cut our tubing long enough to reach the top of the bedside. We then drilled holes in the stake pocket that could be used to weld the bed to the tubing.

The ends of the headgate were trimmed down so that it would fit flush with our super short bed and then welded on.

We shoved a couple short strands of Christmas lights in the taillight housings and bolted it to the floor.

Hopefully we'll have the bumper attached soon and I'll add some pics of it.

A few more in plywood and steel. The girl on the locker is naked, so I made a bikini and shades out of vinyl magnet. Now everybody undresses my closet.

Wow...there's some really cool stuff posted!

I think most of what I do might be "garage" art, but I think these are a couple of the things that are most closely aligned with the spirit of this thread...

I've made a few of these, this was the first one...a christmas gift for my lovely wife:D

This was something he church asked me to put together. I did a couple, this one is my favorite. He hangs out in the back yard now when not in sunday school:

And this one gives me a hand in the shop lol
