    After seeing Ryan's JJ post a few days ago I haven't been able to get this style of car out of my head. Something about it just looks so right. Here's what I could find from my collection of (borrowed) pics.

    No pics to add but I would love to build a clone of the John Davies coupe but a tudor.

    saw a bitchin black 32 vicky at louisville 2008. had spindle mount small window halibrands that were dow 7. want to say it also had a small hemi in it and was florida. of all the times i forgot the camera:rolleyes::mad:

    Sure seems like it to me. The driver in the newer photo is wearing an LA Roadsters jacket, and the original photo is from the TRJ feature of the LA Roadsters scrapbook.

  12. All of those pictures in this thread are of the exact style of my perfect hot rod that have been bouncing around in my head since I was a kid.

    My all-time favorite spindle-mount is still the Halibrand, though.

    can someone scan a larger copy of the june 1967 hot rod article on that pick up? I cant read it and when I try to open it with a windows program, it just becaomes a line. I really want to read that article!!
