Greetings! Got this front axle in trade, lug pattern is big ford, 39" between wishbone perches, 51" between kingpins, 58-1/2" from drum face to drum face. I think it is ford but can't find a picture of it in either my Mac's catalogue or my 1948 Ford service manual, any help identifying it would be a big help, Thanks, Mike

The odd looking Y of the wishbone makes me think Lincoln as well.

  5. Looks like a prewar Lincoln. Those hubs and drums could be the desireable one year only 39s. Check carefully. Lincoln wishbones fit 2.25" boss Ford axles and they have a good angle on the knuckle. Good hot rod building stuff. What else you got in that pile?
