Nate - I like the gesture implied by the marks - but you've piqued my curiosity and I've got to ask ... what does the large circle represent in the backgrounds? Is it a stylistic thing, or a reference point?? I'm not trying to be faciscious(sp?), cuz I love your stuff, I'm just genuinely curious.

  3. gigantor.. you're such a jerk to question my artistic spewings.

hahaha... no, it helps me keep things somewhat in scale, but mostly it's a style thing. If I colored these I might darken that area to bring out the profile better. Thanks for asking.. no faciscieouoness taken ;)

    Cool sketches Nate.

Here's a painting I just got finished for Flat Top Bob.

I think we're calling it "Next to the Last Breakfast". ;) :D

    I like it even more!

Nah, Nate - I was wondering about that. Even if it wasn't a scale refernce, I think it's a neat idea and adds some depth maybe without even intending to.

    Tingler - nice one!

I finally have something to contribute this week.
I just love the friday art shows. Might be just a little OT but
at least it's something. I hope this shows up. I've never posted
    images this way before.

I think I started this painting 8 months ago (or more) and for some reason it took me forever to sit down and finish it. I call it the Green Meany.

It's kinda cartoonish but I think it adds an element that would be lost if it were technically all proportioned correctly.

I don't know that these photos is doing it as much justice as it could.

OK not mine but a fellow HAMBr did this project concept for me. I figured I would show it since he doesn't seem to post much. Thanks again for the inspiration Kort.

Nate, love your stuff more with every post... even the ones without boobies.
Stomper, great to see you here! Great work, as always!
TINGLER....HOLY CRAP!! (no pun intended) That's AWESOME!
Janne, man.... you rule. Sander, nice pipes! ....and I love Jeff Norwell. I will not hide it anymore.
Took a couple weeks away from Fridays here, and drew a bunch of late models and tuners and stuff... I'll spare you those, and show off a t-shirt I just did for a client instead.

Jeff. love yer stuff as always my friend.

  24. that's right a singular oobie.. because 2 would distract from the "art"

  25. NATE! Those sketches are GREAT!

    Norwell, you do well.

Janne's stuff is, as usual, top drawer. (So how do you pronounce your name phonetically? [Man, that's too big a word for me.)]

Tingler, that thing is insane! It reminded me of the poker playing dogs at first glance. I can just imagine that done in Tingler style.

All other contributors, this looks like the beginning of a beautiful art show.

    More from me later,.....

Thirteenth, Schmerteenth! We're gung-ho and ready to go!

wow nate, i really love your "sketches." to me the line and the pure contrast in these has so much more energy than your more refined work.

Well I just want to say never again!, Never will I try painting something under a florecent light around midnite with the famous testors model car paint again. I know stupid but I don't think that it turned out have bad. Most of you know that when you feel the erge to draw, paint or anything elese artistically you better do it then. At least that is my case. anyway Hope you guys like it even if it is not as good as the other stuff being posted.
