Not far yet, but it will be a blast, he begann with the engine, and sort of collects the parts as he goes, the best thing is, he didn't pay more than 15 bucks for a single part. I guess that is also a part of the fun...

and the corresponding Tshirt Art...
Here is an oil on canvas titled “The Abandoned” that I just finished. It will be auctioned at the 12th Annual Cruisin The Ridge car show in Joelton, Tn. This year. The photo is not the best, I had to take it with a camera phone.
Here's one I just finished.
Original version, and an alternate.
I've never commented on the FAS before. I creep every Friday, checking back constantly for updated art. There is a ton of amazing talent out here. It's really incredible
Anyways, since I switched jobs and moved into my new office 6 months ago, there is a section of one wall, next to my Car-N-Art poster, that I've kept blank. I've kept it blank because I've had a mental image of what I wanted to go there... an ant's eye view of the rear end of a roadster. I've just never had the cash to commission an artist to create a work of art to fill the spot.
Buick59, you nailed exactly what I've imagined, 5 days a week, for the past 6 months. Thank you. I love that picture!
Chris that is awesome...another great design!
I let the lab do my prints in sepia, it is some nasty chemical stuff to keep on hand and dispose of.
Great work Guys ! Just as soon as it makes me want to pick up my pencil it makes me want to put it down LOL Kudos to the awesome work today !
Fridays are even better after seeing all the great artwork on the FAS
My effort for this week
This is my first time checking out the FAS, Great stuff! i don't know how I could miss it all this time. I geuss I just fly past most of the "stickies" Thanks to Buick59 for making me look.
Well that contact information was a dead end.
I want to contribute to the Hot Rod Heritage art show at SEMA 2011. Does anybody know who I should contact for this? Please email info to email@example.com
I'm willing to beg. Just point to the right ass and I'll kiss it.
Is this HAMB friendly??? Calibration effort between me and a buddy. ~a non-hamber
Flyer/Poster I did for an upcoming art show (including some HAMBers)
Juan that poster layout is sweet
"Just a little sketch I did today for fun......" Man Larry, I love that.....! It would take me a month to COPY your little sketch! We need to see more of you here.....................
These Friday Art Shows get better each week!
I have a question for those of you who are submitting Photographs. Would you folks mind explaining how you got the shot? What kind of camera & lens, and what settings you used? That way those of us who are not as experienced as you can try our hand at it. Thanks, Harold
I concur...that would be greatly appreciated
Sweet...Can't wait to get mine.
Mr. Thrash, Mr. Ramerez(sp?) isn't the only one who created a monster.
Ryan, I love the picture of your little tike!
Great show all, way too many to set now and point out so consider all of you part of what makes it such a honor to be associated with you... (as much as I'd like to single a few out...)
Here are some other sketches I did based on the same basic drawing but indevidual drawings each.. 3, 10-20 minute sketches with Chevys as the theme:
...and a beater:
Night all, see ya next week!
Can't seem to get my work posted earlier. Something new from me, laser cut and painted ImpalaSS emblem - 24" long. Seems to fit Jigger's Chevy theme.
Great work Ryan! The Acadian looks great.I Like the boarder, nice touch.
Totally overwhelming!! I think this may be the best FAS ever - at least since I have been viewing it. What an outpouring of talent and creativity.
Here are a few of mine from last weeks totally outstanding Starliner event and the garage crawl that preceded it. My apologies to those who have already seen these on my photo/coverage thread.
Awesome stuff guys!! Here's a panel I finished today.
Gary, that is just sick....love it!
