Jeeeze.. already? Too damn early... Well, here's what I've got this week. Took a few shots down at my friend's shop. I'm kinda pissed... the shots came out pretty good when it comes to tones, values and shot placement, but the quality of my camera SUCKS... 2.0 meg/pixel just doesn't do the trick. Looks good small though...
Our very own SkateFink got some ink in Wrench Magazine(tm) Good job Pat on the Jalopy Showdown coverage. Poor choice on subject matter in that one shot..that dude is UGLY. East Coasters better be at the next one. Pray for rain! Spike
Yet another sketch I did at work (I really need to take a sketch pad to work, lined paper isn't very flattering).....I never have time to actually do any real art.....I've got a few things I'm working on, hopefully i can get in the mood and knock 'um out for next week!
Man you folks get up early. Started decorating a n old paint box. The logo is from an old band I had in the 80's.
thanks for the heads up Dan....just finished a piece for "Brush" but he hasn't seen it so I won't ruin the surprise. Here's some little circles I cut out of the remaining MDO and the paint I added to 'em. Had this idea for all of the VD talk. Just a funny thought, I really don't have any care negative or positive for the VD controversies. Just keepin' it light! Have a rockin' weekend!
Dang - you guys rock. Still not sure if photos belong in the 'art' posts, but I was kinda proud of this one I snapped in Austin the weekend of The Drags.
I posted more pics in the model car thread, but 2 weeks ago, this was a purple, pink and silver pro street diecast car. Hey Barnett, check out my pinstriping!
not sure if you can post `work in progress` but wtf....started this nearly a year ago and lost interest in it...maybe i`ll finish it one day......... monkey monkey-inc ps.scanner cut a bit off the back tyre
Well Im a hundred+ miles from my house right now doing a photo shoot at Bo's place. Ywall will have to wait till next week. MAybe I'll even post a picture of my new tatoo. Then again maybe not.

[/ QUOTE ] Before reading the "excuses", I was thinking :How neat, this really cool drawing done in the totally correct, "I'm so bored with this Social studies class!" done during a highschool lecture doodle art..: How refreshing and cool. Love the lined notebook paper !!! Makes it work for me.
Well, did a little digg'in a couple a days ago...can't even remember what for.... and came across : linears and pencil ruffs done in the late 80's and early 90's....(I think).....scaree look'in back into the files of disaster.....
Brush-You don't remember what you were diggin' for? ..I know, but i'm not going to tell ..... Consider that 58 spoken for,,,thats a must have! Expect a pm,,, Talk to you soon...Dirty
Here are a few pics from a recent trip to Detroit. The car and flathead serial #1 are from inside the Henry Ford Museum. The buildings are both the Packard factory downtown.
good work fellers kirk, dig those photos, last one especially... great composition. did you do touch up in pshop, or is that the way it was developed? forgot who said it, but photography is an art form... rather, art is what you want it to be.
Hey Plan, they are digital pics from my medium priced camera. Heavily 'shopped to give them some character. Straight from the camera they are OK but kind of stale.
