nice table, clark...i wonder can you go hard welding when you are clamped to it?....or is warpage still a concern?

i'm in the planning stages for one now...thinking i beam...and bolted together for more cross rail options. i never thought of havin it rotate, thats way more practical that havi to flip the frame and reclamp....thanks for the tip

BCT...side rails are 2x6 3/16. I would think that they will hold.

Now I won't do any heavy welding of the table itself unsuported. I used my original table to make this one.

I bought an old Continental auto body frame straighting machine complete with all the pull apparatus & super good measuring system. It also tilts on the front so after I have the chassis rolling I can just roll it off.

I will build you one. To your specks. Since I find myself an unemployed tool and die maker, I sure could use some extra money. I will also work for parts but since I'm broke will need money for material, will work a trade for labor if anyone is interested.
I'm a fairly good welder and fabricator, I have built a lot of my own tools, english wheel, planishing hammer, tubing roller, tubing bender, and a lot of other fixtures and things. I can also draw in auto-cad, I design most of my stuff there first, you would be able to see the design first.
If anyone's interested shoot me a pm and we can kick around some ideas, I can also send you some pictures of some of the work Ive done too.
