Ford Wheel Q/A

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by wrenchbender54, Mar 12, 2006.

  1. Anyone know what year Ford switched from the huge bolt pattern down to the smaller patterns that we use? I've got a guy I work with that has an old trailer on his farm with an I-beam axle and the original spindles/ drums/ wheels. The axle is trashed and I don't know what they did to it to keep the spindles from turning, but the drums and wheels are salvageable. He thought they were '36 Ford. Told me I could have it if I want it. Are they worth messing with? Might just end up as garage art.
