This the engine bay of Thunderbolt, some pretty agricultural modifications by Dearborn Steel and Tubing back in the day. Restored from a neglected barn find to its former glory.

Here's another couple of Thunderbolts that have been restored. The driver side inside skirt on the yellow car had received the same careful modifications to above red car. The passenger side seems to have received the same modifications, possibly for clearance of the ducted air inlet tubes to the carbs from the now obsolete inner headlamps.

Mike drove a T-Bolt and they had every other 427 Ford built I think. 36088369_185645032135245_9076586577416683520_n.jpg

Tommyd - I can't believe this thread is this old. Are you building a Tbolt that looks like mine in my profile picture.

Ray Skillman has the Nazy Crate car and a friend has the white Bob Pannela car [now yellow also]. Both cars are about two miles apart.

With all these pics most of the known cars have been shown. Now tell us about the cars that were wrecked or destroyed.
I had a 64 h/t that lots of folks called a T bolt. Of course it was not. I put a 63 grill in it, because it looked better.
Sold the car years ago because one of the members under the battery rusted thru.

Wish it was back in the stable.

Not a Thunderbolt but the DST crew

Domestic Special Order (DSO) code 89 0024, 89 - ‘Transportation services’ (Prefix) with 0024 (Suffix) that was specific to the Thunderbolt orders. My clone is only 400 units apart from the real one below. :D

Zimmy, 406 tri-power I believe. The Tasca Ford prelude to the Thunderbol. Very innocuous.

I thought I recognized this VIN number. This is from my old car (an original tbolt). Where did you get this pic from?

Interweb somwhere or details of an auction, Mecum et al doing research? I knew Galaxies had different DSO's for manual or auto and since T-bolts were nearly 50/50 I was curious as to specific DSO's for them.
