Offered is a 1960 Ford Starliner project. This car was part of a prestigious Ohio collection. Work up to this point has been to high standards. Much attention to detail. Much expense incurred. Body off, frame has been de-rusted and powder coated black. All chassis wear components new . Suspension rebuilt. New springs , bushings, fasteners. Power steering upgrade to Saginaw box. All brakes fresh with factory style disc upgrade in the front and SS lines. Rear axle all fresh with Currie 3.25 Tru Trak posi. New fuel tank. New wheels and tires. Much more Engine is a built fresh 390 by Canton Auto Machine. Extremely nice work. Should be very potent but car build was to be a fun driver. Factory cast iron headers are beautiful and ceramic coated. New 2.5 inch "Pipes" mandrel bent dual exhaust . New Edelbrock intake with period correct Moon valve covers and spun air cleaner. Transmission is a fresh stock C-6 with new torque converter. Much more. Body was media blasted on our rotisserie, epoxy sealed and all metal work done. Panels are flat and gaps are spot on. We replaced the trunk floor with that of a '61 which puts the spare in center front of the trunk. Underside is pretty and finished in a fine texture urethane bed liner. Body is in Southern Polyurethane urethane primer and ready for a light final block. The final color was to be Ford Orchid Grey and roof is currently in Wimbledon White. Interior work was started and seats are in cloth and leather and in patterns in the theme of original Ford. Material to finish the project is included. Work on the interior was done by Lehman Upholstery who did our Pebble Beach Best of Show winning Isotta Fraschini. Bright work is near complete with chrome done by John Wrights Custom Chrome in Grafton Oh. Included also is all new stainless belt trim, door spears, rocker trim and rear valance all beautiful pieces. New "washboards" are in aluminum. Font bumper and grill are new old stock.
