I have a banjo differential that measures 55 inches inside backing plate to backing plate and a 10 splined pinion. It looks like a 1946-48 put wider. Haven't figured out how to post a picture yet. So my description is the best I can do for now. It has mounts for tube shocks. Maybe Mercury or Lincoln?

10 spline was used from late '32 to '36.Some '37 commercials had 10 spline.Ford then went to the 6 spline until 1948..
