   I recently figured out that I have a 302 under my hood and since I know that it wasnt a stock option, could someone tell me what date it was manufactured in. I managed to get a code off the heads 3k16.

   you need to find a number like a C8XXXX. The C is 1960's the 8 is 1968. If it is D2XXXX, D is 1970's the 2 is 1972. E is 80's. hope this might help.
