ford 272 y block oil capacity?????????

I have a ford 272 I just finished building and I went from a car front sump pan to a rear sump pan from a 1962 ford truck. I have the dipstick in the front timing chain cover,and dont really want it coming out the side of the engine for the rear sump.It will look funny between the lake headers.Anyone know the oil capacity for a rear sump y block? After I'm at the right amount I can modify(cut) the dipstick to to read the right amount.
