    alittle info on the car
i got it from the bay area thru a cousin of mine, the car runs and drives.
The inline six has been pulled and a 350/350 put in its place
disk brakes installed on the front, stock MC and the brakes lock up until i bleed the pressure!!! not sure what that is all about... tail lights work but not headlights
looking to get a wiring kit, anyone have any complaints with Rebel wire kits ( 9+3 )

If the master cylinder is mounted below the bleeders on the disc, add the residual valves in the front and rear lines to hold line pressure and remove the one in the master cylinder. Also check that you have just a little play in the brake rod or it will vibrate and keep your breaks pumped up.

well i have had alittle more time to dig into the 53 ...decided to try and tackle the brake problem. i didnt want to put the MC on the firewall so i had to figure out how to do a dual circuit master for cheap and keep it on the frame. found a few threads on here showing how to piggyback a dual MC on the back end of the stock one. $20 for the new MC and $15 for the metal to make the bracket ..... alot better than the $350 for ones i found elsewhere pre-fabed

this the what i found on the thread ...... hopefully mine looks close to this hahaha

here is a few pictures of the car and some of the little quirks i have found
disc brakes ...good everything running off a single pot master ....not so good

stock springs have 8 leafs... i had 3 with a 3"lowering block... and no bump stop left

i found a guy in town that had a full stock set what a difference

i'm pretty happy with the 350/350 thats was dropped in .....for now

oh and i noticed a coating of something on the driver side floor board so i started picking i dont know what they used but it was toxic

not sure what car the wheel is off of but sure not a stock one

oh and they took the shifter off and gave me this beauty

well the next think i am going to try is the new wiring harness from rebel wire ....i am kind of scared cause the car runs now but it would be my luck i screw something up haha nothing left but to just do it and see

Welcome from Oklahoma. Time with your boys teaching them about hot rods is time well spent. My boys are now teaching their sons about this hobby.
