OK, dumb question, how do you measure up a flywheel to determine the size of pressure plate you need?

Generally, the pressure plate/disc diameter will be about 3/4" to 1" inboard of the bolt pattern for the clutch cover (pressure plate housing). For instance, if you measure acroos the face of the flywheel to clutch cover bolt holes, subtract about an inch and a half from that dimension (3/4" each side x 2). That should get your very close.

You might also take the flywheel to a local automtive machine shop or parts house for help in identifying it.

For Borg & Beck pressure plates, from bolt hole to bolt hole:

    6-5/16" for 11" and 5-13/16" for 10.5".
