Technical Flathead Motor Disassembly Is This Motor Bad???

    I wouldn't. If it was free and you delivered it, I might take it. I really think it's a dead player.

    Do the old internals & externals hold any value? Maybe I'll weld some of the stuff together like the pistons & valves and sell it as art to recoup some of the money lost on this one.

    You might find someone who wanted the crank or main caps and other parts. I think you should get the thing sand blasted. Paint it with a nice shiny paint. Assemble it to look like a running engine. Build a shiny stand and sell it as a display piece. Or keep it. Maybe someday you will find some rotted out finned aluminum heads cheap, or other stuff to make it look cool and just have it around.

  4. I think that if it were all I had to work with I may try and do something with it. But as it sits I may see if I can salvage any of the internals and start looking for another block.
