flathead ford V8/6 clutch,pp,flywheel

need some good - accurate knowledge on a flathead 6 (1946 small truck) flywheel, pp, clutch, bell...will they all 'fit' the flathead V8 engine?...the box looks about the same size and, if so, will the gears interchange between boxes?....i am not a flathead guy - duh, obviously - chevy's and hemi's are my engine of choice....many thanks for any info...johnnyB
