flathead for sale

What is a running 50 Merc flathead with transmission worth?I know someone who has one for sale and wants $600 for it .

 

I'd buy it tomorrow, but I don't live in Conroe anymore so I'd have to pass. I know that considering the price of flathead parts, if it runs it's gotta be worth it, at least around these parts.

 

I really dont need it .I have a 56 chevy so I have no use for it right now. If anny one else is interested let me know.
