Hot Rods Flathead flywheel?

I’m sorry I don’t have any pictures but I have a chance to buy a few flathead parts come spring time and one of them is a aluminum flywheel. It only has 6 pp holes and has a roller bearing in it but it doesn’t have an insert. Is this common? I would think the friction would melt on contact. It has a little race car cast into it but no name. The garage is locked till spring so I can’t get pics. It’s roughly 1” thick with a tapered edge toward the trans side
