The flame look great. There are so many styles of flames and as long as you keep the long flowing lines they good good. It when they do short choppy line is when they start looking bad. I always layed out the flames with tape and stand back and look at them to see if there are any issues before I finish taping them off and paint them.

In real life flames change shape every 1/2 second or so any way, so who's to say if you nailed it or not.....they look damn fine to me good job:D

  9. They look great.

Although, in my head I keep seeing the wheels orange to match the motor and flames.

The shape & color of your flames fit that body style of a car better, but I wouldn't be ashamed of the way the car looks now.

Nice job for if it's your first time! Personally, I would have put more than six ends of flames on them and put a bit more orange, but otherwise, looks Great!

  13. Nice, simple and understated (can flames be understated?). But the point is well made - they look good. One day before I pass on I hope to have at least one car with a tasty flame job......I have a stock '49 Ford that would look the part with those flames. Maybe this winter.........

  14. I love the old skool look!

  15. Cool. They look very good. Great job.

I like what ya did,the fact you did it is super.:D
I been doing flames a long time and my style is dark first going to liter color, but I'm that way cus it shows up better on race cars to the fans in the stands.:cool:nearly every race car I've had was done with flames.

I like them. Very tasteful and not overpowering like some others.
    I give them a 9 out of 10.

I think you did a great job! They look very good and traditional. I like the fading and the contrasting pinstripe. Similar in style to my daily driver (O/T vehicle).

  22. Nice...muliti-color looks great and the purple is mellow .

Now with a 25 louver with a FEW 2-3 louvers blend of the orange/yellow combo.

I like how you started orange-yellow-then orange. Nice and well thought out !

Take pride. also like the orange motor and simple ram horns.

Looks fun ...or should I just say DITTO to all the other 6 pagers.

Yeppers the flames look spot on ! .... but the red wheels distract your attention , paint them black , get someone to photoshop it for you and you will see what I mean ... it will make the flames pop !
