Projects fit the frame to the body , or the body to the frame ?

    actually the front is fine by me. the issue is at the back just forward of the wheel arch , the frame sticks out by about 3/8 " on both sides.

    The rear end problem is a lot less to correct, and if there's no subframe back there, the lower quarter panels do get pretty flexible. See if you can determine the width of the piece you took out, and put a "spreader" in between the wheel wells and see what happens. If I remember correctly, there's a 3 tab flange at the bottom of the door post ( latch side ) that attaches to the sub frame . Do you still have that to work with?
    Keep on plugging, you'll figure it out.
