Today for the first time my son Who is 23 yeards old drove my 1853 olds.the young Guy tried to drive the car as a modern car. I sat on the passager side And said "take it easy. Cool man its an 66 yeards old car. . Please respect this old girl. . The young Guy drove thé car as it was an old lady, What a dream ii had withh my son today
Olds had a made horse drawn wagons in the late 1800's, I believe you meant 1953. It's great to share a passion with your kids. HRP
I'm glad to hear that you had a good time enjoying your car with your son. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
You just don’t remember it, cause you were only eleven yeards old yourself back then and didn’t pay attention. Skickat från min iPhone med H.A.M.B.
Hey, that 1(9)53 Olds is a '56! Charming they had a lesson, my Dad didn't have that ride, but a real hot rodder (chopped '32 Pickup, 296" flathead) did! Hard time pushing in the beefed clutch, (I was 13) and kept looking down at the stick when shifting...veered somewhat to the right...LOL I don't drive like that any more, much better now.
I've got a picture of my teenage son taking my dad for a ride in my coupster in the early nineties. Crap, that makes me the same age now as my dad was back then.
