Does anyone have a pattern for a 1930 A coupe to cut the firewall to fit a small block chevy? I would like to cut the firewall the correct amount the first time, knowing it will fit, but taking off as little as possible! Thanks- Jimmy

this isn't my car in this pic, its another hamber.(sorry to steal it) but I found this photo to show u how I did it and it worked fine. 2" recessed cut the exact same way. cut it out, make a 2" strip of metal and use the old firewall piece. looks better then what retails as a recessed firewall

That does look nice, one of the better ones i have seen.
I cheated, im lenghtening my frame 3 3/4" right in front of the firewall.

    Yep exactly, ;-)
I wonder how many will figure the extra length out.
I havent seen many firewalls that appear to have much thought put into them but the one above does.
