I love them bodystyles, but i have never been too keen on those front grills. Non the less, hopefully one less beauty that will have a 350/350. That thing needs a flathead with a nice growl. Nothing too major though, please! Less is more!

Great score on the car, too bad it wasn't a better situation for the seller.

    Too sweet!
I just picked up my '39 Standard Sedan this February and I can tell you now- you're gonna love yours!
I'd bet you couldn't count how many guys on here are sickly jealous of your great score.
Very pretty color by the way.
    Have fun with it!

Great karma, bittersweet story - you musta done something real good....

Great to see your gramps invigorated and enthused by it - you're both behavin' about the same age which is way cool:cool:.

Your plans are on the right track and that's a keeper. Do whatever you have to to hang on to it.

  28. Very nice car man! Kinda motivates me to work on my 40 coupe. But I need to sell something, rob a bank, or win the lottery (but I don't play). I'll get around to mine eventually.

KA CHOW again real nice this 37 has a amature restore frame under it . Glad to see the man give it to you to get it going again . The part of you not cutting it up is the best . I believe the car that should be changed is the one that is pieced together . This one of parts has no real value and is open for a rod build . The complete originals need the chance to survive . Pic of the 39 frame I got with a 37 body .
