Projects Finally fished out all of the broken stuff in the T-96 tranny

    Now that the T-96 is back together with the help of a small parts kit and a couple new synchronizers from the Kaiser-Willys site, I can concentrate on re installing it and pulling up the torque tube to mate.
    The cause of the malfunction can be traced back to whomever rebuilt it last. Missing were the washers that hold the needle roller bearings inside the countershaft. I don't know how many miles were logged on it before it failed. I personally put at least 1,000 since I got it last year. 003.JPG 005.JPG s-l300.jpg
