About 1958, I moved to Ferndale, and a young man had a 1950(I think) Ford and he was customizing it. He recessed the headlights and tail lights and installed a touch system to open the doors. I believe it was gold colored. I was just a lowly 8th or 9th grader and me and my friend would just stand out on the sidewalk and watch him work on it in his driveway. He didn't invite us in. I just wondered if anyone knew what happened to the car.
