Fender skirts for a Lincoln??

I have the factory skirts and extras and my original plan was to make one set into full skirts. I started laying stuff out and now I see that if I fill the factory skirts they will rub on the tires because they roll under at the bottoms. Does anyone make "cruiser skirts" for a 52' Lincoln? Anyone got pics of a ride with them installed? I would really like some full skirts on my ride but have not found anything as of yet.

You can't cut the lip off some where it rolls under? Or hammer it out of the way?

 

I had a 53 lincoln that i put 51 merc. lips on , Off of 51, I thought it looked bittchen, Mine was lowerd.

 

put 51 merc. lips on them, Did mine Cut off 51 merc skirts.

 

Thanks FOURTYDLX! That is kind of the way I am heading. I hate to purchase another set of skirts just to cut them up so I will be checking the local scrap yard and see what I can steal the lips off of.

 

The way the Lincoln skirts are made and the wheel opening won't allow it. The rear of the opening and lower quarter are tucked behind the rear tire. I will have to steal a lip and fender flare off another car.

 

i need a left side skirt for a 53 capri . do you know where i can find one ?
