Federal tires from Diamondback?

Any opinions on Federal tires from Diamondback? From what I can tell they are made in Taiwan or mainland China. I have not had good service from other Chinese tires and I'm wondering if these are better.

We had a thread on them after a picture of a car on the salt or dry lakes in R&C sported them

 

I have had Federal brand tires before, not from Diamondack (they were on an o/t vehicle) and they were great.
