It has a trailer hitch too and they own several restored Doodlebug scooters....can you just imagine the fun?

I hope they get it out on the road a lot more than the previous owners. That car could make old car lovers out of regular people!

I haven't driven my Nomad since drdave and I took it to lunch today! :)

I don't recall ever seeing a 55 Nomad painted the factory "Anniversary Gold". Has anyone else??

  14. Absolutely one of the coolest cars ever made. Not only beautiful, but practical.

  15. I don't think many cars look good gold, but that one definitely does.

You are cruel P.Flats. For 30 years, I have been kicking myself for selling my first car which just happened to be a 55 'Mad and now you add salt to the wound. That hurts man.;)

Very nice,I always liked the Nomads.this one is exceptionally cool. A young guy (25 )I work with saw a Nomad on my calender and said that is the ugliest car I have ever seen ! He likes the new shit boxes out there, I replied this car is how real American cars were built with NO foreign country parts like todays cars. You should support MADE IN USA but I am sure he doesn't get it. Anyway I like it you don't have to.

Now that's a great looking Nomad. The gold really highlights what a cool bodystyle the Nomad was. Plus, I love gold, whitewalls and chrome wheels. lol Thumbs up for a super ride.

I don't have anything constructive to add, but one more "cool" isn't gonna hurt, is it?

    Four-speed behind the 327, perchance?

Thats amazing looking. I've often thought about painting my car gold, thats an awesome shade. Surprised nobody has whined about it having radials yet.
